You Add to P.E.O. is a fun initiative within the P.E.O. Sisterhood where chapters are challenged to add two or more active members by February 28, 2025. Chapters that meet this initiative are eligible for special recognition, including being featured on the P.E.O. website.
Chapter HX, Rossville, Kansas, was selected for January! As of January 3, the chapter had added 3 new members since the beginning of the initiative. Read below to learn more about the chapter.
What does your chapter do for fun?
We have socials and enjoy our fundraising events.
What has been your most successful fundraiser?
Monetarily, our flower sales may make a little more money, but the “pie eating opportunities” we have during some of our local high schools’ basketball games give us an opportunity to tell our local communities about what P.E.O. does on a more personal level.
What is your best tip for finding new members?
Most recently, our new members have been work mates of current members and family or friends of current members.
