Biography
Jennifer G. Mitchell is organizer of International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. A third-generation P.E.O., she became a member of the Sisterhood in 1989.
Jennifer, a past president of Florida State Chapter, was appointed to the P.E.O. Leadership Development Committee in 2019 and most recently served as chairman.
Graduating with honors from the University of Florida, Jennifer earned a degree in mechanical engineering. She also has postsecondary MBA courses from the University of South Alabama. She worked in paper manufacturing as a process engineer, power plant shift foreman, Environmental Health & Safety Regulations coordinator and paper machine engineer.
Jennifer currently holds a blue belt in the martial art Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. She is active in her church and taught women’s Bible studies for over a decade. She also enjoys listening to podcasts that explore leadership, motivation and behavior. She and her husband, Brent, an electrical engineer, live in Melbourne, Florida. They have two daughters.
Jennifer is currently a member of her original initiating chapter, EM, Melbourne, Florida. She has also been a member of H, Mobile, Alabama; AY, Lawrenceville, Georgia; and HJ, Melbourne, Florida. P.E.O. has enriched Jennifer’s life through the opportunities provided to her through her service and the relationships she has developed with amazing women throughout our Sisterhood.
