Meet the President of P.E.O. International Chapter

Patricia L. Brolin-Ribi, President, International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood

Patricia L. Brolin-Ribi is president of International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, having initially been elected to the Executive Board of International Chapter in 2013. Born in western Montana, Patti was raised in Anaconda, where she became a member of P.E.O. Chapter T in 1977. She is currently a member of Chapter AM in Hailey, Idaho, and lives in Sun Valley.

Patti feels fortunate to have shared P.E.O. with her mother, Carra Brolin, who was a president of P.E.O.’s Montana State Chapter and her sister, Rebecca Archibald, Chapter BT, Montana. Patti was elected to the Idaho state board in 2000 and served as president from 2006-2007. In 2007, Patti was elected to a six-year term as a member of the board of trustees for the P.E.O. Foundation. She chaired the board from 2011-2013.

A graduate of the University of Montana, Patti earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in interpersonal communications and a Juris Doctor degree in law. She had a private legal practice for 30 years and recently retired.

Patti met her husband, Nils Ribi, at the University of Montana and they married in 1979. Nils is president of a private investment firm and is an avid photographer.

Active in numerous community groups, Patti especially enjoys volunteering with the Sun Valley Summer Symphony and the Boulder Mountain Tour. She is a Trustee Emeritus of the University of Montana Foundation. Patti and Nils enjoy time at their cabin in the mountains, travel and many outdoor activities in all seasons of the year. Patti’s highlights have included climbing to the summit of Mount Rainier and attaining advanced certification in scuba diving.
