What the “Dickens” is Going On with the P.E.O. Foundation?

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the P.E.O. Foundation by attending this fun and informative workshop presented by the Foundation trustees.

Join Ebie LeScrooge as she learns about the past, gets involved in the present and is excited for the future of the P.E.O. Foundation. You, along with Ebie, will learn what the P.E.O. Foundation has to offer individuals and P.E.O. chapters. Hear how the services offered by the P.E.O. Foundation can benefit individual donors with tax advantages and provide management and investment services for funds established by chapters or individuals.   Realize how these management and investment services will help to grow your money for the benefit of our P.E.O. projects and chapter and individual scholarships administered by the P.E.O. Foundation.  

This workshop wi l l provide valuable information to take back to your chapters on how to establish funds in the P.E.O. Foundation, opportunities for tax deductible giving to the P.E.O. Foundation and our P.E.O. projects and information on annual and planned giving options for individuals. Learn various ways you can help ensure the continuance of the P.E.O. mission with gifts that will provide support to our P.E.O. projects and the women who will receive grants, loans and scholarships for years to come.

Required Seminars

The Life of an Amendment

Learn how proposed amendments make their way to Convention of International Chapter and the parliamentary rules you can use during Convention when we consider the 2011 proposed amendments. Members of the Study and Research Committee and International parliamentarian, Mary Dunn Short, will be on hand to answer your questions. Bring your Constitution and this issue (March-April 2011) of The P.E.O. Record.


Finance/Budget

Members of International Chapter’s Finance Committee will present information on the Sisterhood’s investments and financial position. Kathy Soppe, treasurer, will explain the budget and answer your questions.


Focus Forum for PSPs 

P.E.O. has implemented many significant changes this biennium. How do you envision our continuing  development? Join us for discussion and share your thoughts on the impact of future possibilities, including your viewpoints as a past president of a state, province or district chapter. Debbie Clason, Coordinator of Membership Development, will facilitate the forum with assistance from the Regional Membership Representatives and the Special Committee for Membership Advancement (SCMA).
